Our New Fav
I got the Hannah Montana soundtrack for the kids the other day, specifically for this song, because if you know us you know that butterfly hold a place in our hearts because of our love for my niece Lucy. The other thing I love about this song is that when we listen to it, all 3 kids are mesmerized and quiet and baby p says "fly fly" over and over while flapping his little hands like butterflies, it is so sweet and something he picked up on all on his own.

Trek Yourself

Facebook Friends
Today I came across Mama Sparkles. As I was perusing her blog I found a great post where she categorized her Facebook friends, after her sister asked her just where all her friends came from. I found this VERY interesting and was curious to see where my FB friends came from. This is what I came up with:
High School: 61
Mommy Friends: 45
Family: 33
Elementary School: 21
Worked with or Taught with: 13
College: 11
Church: 7
Other (mainly friends I met through others): 15
A couple of things amaze me....
1) the impact of high school and the friends we make there
2) how many people you meet just because you're a parent
3) how few of my friends come from my college years, there are SO many people I met in college and I had so many friends, where did they all go???
4) I found it interesting to see how many people overlapped categories, I had to decide which category was the most prevalent or where I really knew them from! ;)

Ugly Cakes
Hey folks I came across the most awesome blog today. http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/ It is a hoot! Here are a couple pics from the blog that made me laugh out loud!
After seeing these, I don't feel so guilty about getting this cake for Middle P's 3rd birthday last year!
And now here are pics of the author of this blog (I think), anyway I am showing you these because I am seriously wanting to do this to my hair. Yes, seriously! I've been talking about dying my hair pink for a couple of weeks now, and when I saw her hair, I thought, that's it, that's what I want to do. What do you think? No, I don't have a reason for doing it, just sounds like fun.

Before we were Mr & Mrs P
Back in the day, when we were just friends, before we fell in love, before we were even close to becoming Mr & Mrs P. He was my best friend then and he continues to be my best friend today.
